Motivational speaking and mental health talks
Through Strong Enough to Talk, I share my lived experience to encourage honest conversations about mental health, challenge stigma and remind people that they are never alone.
I want to help schools, workplaces and community groups create environments where people feel safe to speak, ask for help and support one another without judgement.
Every talk is built around honesty, understanding and hope, with one clear message: it's okay not to be okay, and it's always okay to talk.
Based in Sunderland, I welcome enquiries from organisations across the North East and beyond.
Tailored talks for every audience
Every school, workplace and community is different, so I want my talks to reflect the needs of the people in the room.
Through Strong Enough to Talk, I share my lived experience to encourage open conversations about mental health, challenge stigma and help people understand the importance of checking in on one another.
Whether it's a school wanting to raise awareness among young people, a workplace looking to encourage wellbeing conversations, or a community group bringing people together, my aim is to leave every audience with a message of understanding, hope and the courage to speak up.
Free introductory mental health awareness talks are available for schools, workplaces and community groups.

Schools and colleges
I want to help young people understand that their mental health matters and that they never have to struggle in silence.
Through lived experience and honest conversations, my sessions aim to encourage students to speak up, challenge stigma, recognise when they or someone else may be struggling, and understand the importance of seeking support from a trusted adult.
My goal is to help create a school environment where young people feel listened to, understood and supported, without fear of judgement.
Every young person deserves to know that their voice matters and that it's okay to talk.
Community and support groups
Everyone deserves a safe space where they can speak openly and feel heard without judgement.
Through honest conversations and my own lived experience, I aim to help community groups and mental health support organisations break down stigma, build understanding and remind people that they are not alone.
These talks encourage people to share their experiences, support one another and recognise that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Real conversations. No judgement. A reminder that hope is always possible.
Workplaces and corporate
Every workplace should be a place where people feel supported, valued and able to speak openly about their mental health.
Through honest, engaging talks built on lived experience, I encourage employees and leaders to challenge stigma, recognise when someone may be struggling, and create a culture where asking for help is met with understanding rather than judgement.
Together, we can help make mental health conversations part of everyday working life.
Because looking after people matters.
Built on lived experience, honesty and hope
Every talk is built on real-life experience, honesty and hope. By sharing my own journey, I aim to break down stigma, encourage open conversations and remind people that asking for help is a sign of strength.
My goal is to create a supportive space where people feel heard, understood and empowered to speak up without fear of judgement.
Because sometimes, one honest conversation can make a difference.
What our talks deliver
Our talks go beyond statistics. They bring mental health conversations to life through honest personal experiences, helping audiences understand the challenges people can face behind closed doors.
Through open discussion and real-life stories, we aim to challenge stigma, encourage empathy and help people recognise when someone may be struggling.
Audiences are encouraged to speak up, listen without judgement and learn practical ways to support friends, family members, colleagues and themselves.
The message is simple: you are not alone, and it's okay to talk.
